Menopause is a natural stage of life — but I know from working with many women that it doesn’t always feel natural. It can be confusing, disruptive, and sometimes overwhelming.
If you’ve found yourself asking, “Why do I feel so different?” or “Is this just hormones—or something else?” — know that your questions are valid.
I’m Dr. Kevin Teeluckdharry, though most patients call me Dr. Tee. I’m a dual board-certified Family Physician and Obstetrician–Gynecologist with a special focus on menopause and perimenopause. My training in both fields allows me to view menopause from two angles: the gynecologic side and the bigger picture of whole-body health.
Hormones matter — but so do your heart, bones, metabolism, sleep, mood, and long-term wellness. Menopause can touch almost every part of your health. My goal is to help you navigate this stage safely, thoughtfully, and with a plan that works for you.
Life is busy, and care should be accessible — but never rushed or unsafe. That’s why our clinic offers a hybrid model:
Certain symptoms — especially irregular or abnormal bleeding — need careful evaluation. While hormones can cause these changes, it’s important to rule out other conditions safely.
Your safety and quality care always come first.
Every woman experiences menopause differently. Some have mild symptoms; others find changes affect daily life, sleep, work, or relationships. Together, we’ll address your concerns, including:
Common Symptoms:
Perimenopause & Bleeding Concerns:
Long-Term Health:
Menopause care isn’t just symptom relief — it’s also about protecting your long-term health.
Appointments begin with listening. I’ll take time to understand:
We’ll discuss any necessary tests or exams, then develop a personalized plan that fits your goals, safety, and comfort.
Hormone therapy can effectively treat:
I follow major guidelines and carefully review your age, medical history, risk factors, and symptom severity. HRT is never automatic or dismissed — my goal is to help you make an informed choice.
Not everyone uses hormones — and that’s okay. Evidence-based alternatives include prescription medications, localized vaginal therapies, and lifestyle strategies. Often, the best outcomes combine approaches thoughtfully.
Menopause isn’t just about estrogen. Nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and metabolism affect symptoms, bone health, heart risk, and sexual health.
My wife, Sonia, a certified lifestyle wellness coach, helps patients make sustainable lifestyle changes — free for clinic patients.
My goal is simple: high-quality, accessible, respectful menopause care grounded in evidence and focused on your long-term health.
If you’re feeling uncertain during this transition, I’d be honored to guide you.
